What is the theme of the 2024 Churchwide Gathering?
The theme is “Do everything in love,” based on 1 Cor. 16:13–14 (NIV).
When is the 2024 Churchwide Gathering?
The Gathering begins on Thursday, August 8, 2024, and concludes on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
Where will this Gathering be held?
Plenary sessions will be held in America’s Center, the convention center for St. Louis. Gathering attendees will get a special conference rate for hotel rooms at the Marriott St. Louis Grand, which will house other Gathering programming, such as workshops, meals and the exhibit hall.
What happens at the Gathering?
Lots! Join with siblings in faith from around the country in spirit-led worship with uplifting music and inspired preaching. In the plenary (large group) sessions, learn from engaging speakers on everything from Bible study to advocacy and mission. Explore your areas of passion and key issues in the world today through forums and workshops led by knowledgeable presenters. Celebrate the newly elected leaders of PW Inc.’s 2024–2027 national board. Visit the many exhibits. Shop in the marketplace and bookstore. Arrive early or stay late to take in some of the interesting and fun St. Louis sites.
How much will the Gathering cost?
There are two options for in-person participation. Full registration is $450. One-day registration is $150 per day. Hotel, travel and some meals are additional. If you can’t join in-person, consider online registration, which is $150 and includes access to plenary, worship and select workshops.
What hotel accommodations are available?
Rooms at the Marriott St. Louis Grand start at $185 per night, one to four persons per room, plus tax. Book by July 15, 2024, to receive the group rate. These discounted rates will apply three nights before and after the Gathering. (When you register for the Gathering online, your confirmation page will also include a link to arrange housing.)

Are scholarships available?
A limited number of leadership development grants will be available to help with Gathering costs. Watch for details in fall 2023. Also consider applying for scholarships through your PW in the Congregation, Presbytery or Synod.
When should voting representatives be available for the Business Meeting?
The Business Meeting will begin Wednesday, August 7, at 7 pm and will conclude by 5 pm on August 8. Voting representative certification and orientation will take place prior to the start of the meeting on August 7.

The 2024 Gathering theme reminds us to “Do everything in love.” Gathering programming will focus on how God’s love guides the way we care for ourselves, our neighbors and our world, as well as how we can express love through the PW Purpose.
